Workshop on Deep Learning in Materials Science (WDLMS-2024): Series-I

Central Department of Physics (CDP), Tribhuvan University (TU) and Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), TU are jointly organizing a Workshop on Deep Learning in Materials Science (WDLMS-2024) : Series-I starting from 10th February, 2024 to 14th February, 2024.

This workshop is solely intended for the Master’s and PhD students as well as the Researchers from Science and Engineering background.

This workshop is sub-divided into two category:

i) Three days hands-on session with talks for the beginners in Deep Learning (seats limited to 30 applicants).

ii) One day hands-on session for the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) courses (for upto 120 applicants). In this program, applicants will be able to learn Basics of Deep Learning and few other courses with a value of up to $90 per student per course.

Selection will purely be based on the criteria set by the DLI program.

This project is supported by IOST-TU, AMRL, HIST, NVIDIA and UGC-Nepal.

The workshop will be held in a hybrid mode (part of it will be in physical mode and part of it in online mode). So, participants who can join this program physically as well as on online mode will be preferred. 

The venue of the physical mode will be at the Central Department of Physics, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. 

Important Notes:
(i) Selection will be based on the eligibility criteria set by the DLI program.
(ii) Registration deadlines - 7 February, 2024 (5 PM)
